Before you install
Does StudioDrive upload my photos to the cloud?
No. Your photos and videos stay on your own drives. StudioDrive keeps a catalogue of file names and folders online so your team can search and check from their phones.
Which computers does it run on?
StudioDrive runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, and on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. A studio can mix Macs and PCs: everyone sees the same drives and backups. The phone dashboard works in any modern phone browser.
What happens to files if I remove a drive from StudioDrive?
Nothing. Removing a drive only makes StudioDrive forget its catalogue. The files on the drive are never touched.
How many people can use it?
The Photographer plan has 2 seats and the Studio plan has 5. Everyone sees the same drives, history and live backups.
What is the founding offer?
The first 500 studios to pay yearly get the founding price: Photographer ₹2,499 and Studio ₹4,999 for the first year (normally ₹3,999 and ₹7,999). After that, you renew at ₹2,999 or ₹5,999 a year, locked for as long as you stay. The offer ends on 31 December 2026 or when 500 studios have joined, whichever comes first.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Photographer is ₹399 a month and Studio is ₹799 a month. The founding price is for yearly plans only. You can switch between monthly and yearly when you renew.
How do I upgrade to a paid plan?
Tap Buy on a plan above and pay by UPI, card or netbanking. Use the email you signed in to StudioDrive with: your studio switches over by itself within a minute, and nothing you've set up changes. Not using StudioDrive yet? You'll get a licence key by email to paste in after you sign up. Have a partner code? Add it at checkout for your discount.

Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. If macOS says StudioDrive can't be opened the first time, right-click it in Applications and choose Open. On Windows, if a blue “Windows protected your PC” box appears, click More info, then Run anyway.
